DAYS OF OPEN DOORS 2008 – STUDEN GROUP

Brčko, 29th August 2008 – Last night, in front of the full Cultural Hall of Brcko, the central venue for the manifestation of Days of Open Doors 2008 so far, a theatre play entitled "Provincial Wedding" was received with ovations from the audience.

This theatre play has won 5 main category awards at recently held 27th Theatre Festival in Jajce and the categories were: the best play, directing, set design, costumes and the best actors of the festival.
Well known actors with a proven career track in theatre plays: Meliha Fakić, Nermin Omić, Milenko Iliktarević, Remira Osmanović, Midhat Kušljugić and others, have offered a fantastic interpretation of this play to the audience of Brcko.

Nataša Pucar, PR & Marketing Manager stated the following: „ Every year we try to offer new content to our local community and refreshed programme of manifestation. This year we moved out of our factory as we wanted to bring closer all events to the citizens of Brcko.  It is very important considering that this manifestation is organised for them as well as for our employees. We are very happy with interest that has been shown for all cultural events that we organised and that's probably the best proof that we have picked the right program.  We are quite excited about tonight's event at hotel Jelena, which we call "Women's Day in August". Traditional food from this region will be prepared by women's associations:  Kolo Srpskih sestara, Mame and Žene Bošnjakinje. Great food with an appropriate musical back up guarantees another great evening ".

Saturday's programme is turned towards sport competitions in mini-football, basketball, children's clown parties and a big picnic on town's well known picnic gathering ground "Ficibajer" near river Sava.
